To CBD or not to CBD, that is the question...

Did you know your vet can't mention CBD to you? Or they aren't supposed to. That's what I was told by a local vet when I kept bringing up CBD, on multiple occasions, to treat my dog's pain and anxiety.
They tried to treat with Trazodone, Gabapentin, Prozac, you name it, they were mixing and prescribing. And all I wanted to know was... what are my natural options I can try first, or as an aid alongside the other stuff? I'm all for using pharma, but I like to try natural first, after all, animals are as natural as it gets. They are sensitive creatures.
And it's a bit frustrating that a system has tied the hands of the medical professionals we trust our precious pets' healthcare to. I almost feel bad for the vets, unable to fully help animals in the field meant to help animals... Why is this so backwards??

Anyway, the point is, advocacy
It is more important now than ever for your furry friend, and if you're not advocating for them... who is?!
Do your research. I know I'd stop at nothing to ease my own dog's discomfort, no matter the cost to me. I found Trazodone, and all the meds they prescribed didn't do anything but further stress my dog. And when I tried Honest Paws CBD tincture (I don't get a kickback; this is purely the brand I think is unbeatable in integrity, support, and quality), I saw a whole new change. He had energy, he wanted to get up, he wasn't as stiff, his behavior was not as sluggish, hungry, or grumpy, and he wasn't stressed from knowing he was drowsy or not operating at 100%... UPDATE: I may get a kickback if you purchase using these links ( I'm not sure, haha) and you'd get a discount as well!

Animals aren't stupid, and they solely run off instincts. How do you think they feel when they know their reactions and abilities are diminished?
Now all animals are different, and maybe trazodone is a lifesaver for you! That's awesome; I'm so glad. There's nothing worse than an anxious, scared, or hurting pet. But did you know you can still use CBD or other natural aids? Sometimes, it's a team effort. Now, before you dive in and just start self-prescribing for your pet, please do your research or consult a professional. I'm sure most vets can't give you advice on how much or what to mix, but there are pros out there that can help! So when you want to try everything you can for your pet, next time you're at the vet, make the first move and ask them about CBD!
Honest Paws is my top pick brand for all things CBD! They are amazing to work with, and the customer comes first! Their rewards program is second to none and can save you a lot on a sometimes, costly addition to your pet's care! I don't receive any monetary benefit from this. I just think they are amazing! UPDATE: I may receive a monetary benefit if you use my link to purchase ( I'm not sure) and you would get a discount as well!
